About Us…
The team at Colby Wines came into being as a result of friends deciding to synergise their wide knowledge of wine and food, broaden their horizons and share their vast experience with others.
All have worked at/managed top restaurants in the North West of England and between us we have an aggregate experience of around 100 years. We serve Liverpool, Merseyside and the North West of England
Wine Tasting
At Colby Wines we don’t practice conventional tasting methods - we want to communicate our knowledge of wine in a factual but fun and engaging manner.
We won’t bore you with long lectures - that’s been kicked into the long grass. Our aim is to offer fun facts by uncorking the stories behind quality wines so everybody gets a ‘backstage pass’ - understands the wines, feels comfortable with their choices and is never intimidated by a wine list ever again!
